From the 510 kW Voyah Free, which accelerates to 100 km in 4.3 seconds, to the MPV Voyah Dreamer, which is fun to drive, good driving control and chassis quality are the most prominent labels of Lanto's products. I was fortunate enough to experience both the FREE and the Dreamer in depth. To be responsible, Voyah's products are really excellent and mature in terms of driving. So when it comes to Chasing Light, it is inevitable to continue to carry forward and inherit this fine tradition. Compared to the AC asynchronous motors of the first-generation voyah free, the Voyah has upgraded to front and rear permanent magnet synchronous motors that take into account energy consumption control and power output, with the two motors capable of generating 375 kW of maximum power and 730 N-m of peak torque:
Voyah Car also uses the One Box cable-controlled braking system on the Chasing Light, which can increase the response speed by 25%. Reflected in the data, the distance from 100km/h to zero braking reaches 33.8 meters, and the official claim is that it can accelerate and decelerate 10 times continuously without any deterioration in power and braking performance.
The real test of chassis merit is two scenarios: 'curves' and 'bumps'. First of all, the hardware strength determines the upper limit of tuning. Chasing Light's chassis adopts a front double-wishbone + rear five-link independent suspension structure, with more than 90% of aluminum alloy used. At the same time, through hollow casting, forging, high-pressure casting and other processes, the under-spring mass can be further reduced. Secondly, the torque distribution capability of the 4WD system adds to the maneuverability. Voyah car has developed its own IGBT power module, which is the first IGBT module with completely independent intellectual property rights in China. For electric vehicles, IGBT is one of the core technologies, and its performance directly affects the speed of Electric Vehicle power release. This also allows Chasing Light to realize 0-100% front and rear torque intelligent distribution, further expanding the limits of control.
With all-wheel drive, the Voyah Passion's 82 kW-h version offers a CLTC range of 580 km, while the 109 kW-h version goes straight to 730 km.
