The GWM Tank 300 PHEV is about to make its debut. The New Car has been declared by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system consisting of a new 2.0T engine and an electric motor.
The "PHEV" logo has been added under the tail mark of the gwm 300 tank, and the font of "TANK" has been changed to "Great Wall Tank Off-road". The new car will be available in city and off-road versions, with the differences in appearance reflected in the use of smoked black treatment on details such as the center grille, door handles, wheelbars, luggage racks and exterior mirrors. The new car will also offer a new shape of two-tone aluminum alloy rims, more hardcore feeling.
The gwm tank 300 PHEV continues the styling design of the fuel version of the model, the rectangular front grille with round headlamps looks very retro, and the raised front surround is also quite tough. The length, width and height of the body is still 4760*1930*1903mm, with a wheelbase of 2750mm, and the square outline plus the flared wheelbars all show the "tough guy" style. The side-opening tailgate, back-mounted "small bag" further enhances the hardcore off-road atmosphere. At the same time can also be equipped with optional electric side pedals, wading hose, trailer hooks and so on.
In terms of power, the gwm tank 300 PHEV will be equipped with a plug-in hybrid system consisting of a new 2.0T gasoline engine and an electric motor. Among them, the 2.0T engine model "E20NA", the same as the GWM Tank 500 Hi4-T, declared maximum power of 185kW, net power of 180kW, compared with the current gwm tank 300 2.0T engine (167kW) is stronger, and is expected to be upgraded to 9AT transmission. In addition the same capacity of 37.11kWh three yuan lithium battery pack, pure electric range of 105km, fuel consumption of 9.5L/100km.
