New mid-size pure electric coupe Lotus Emeya
As the first pure electric supercar sedan under Rutgers, EMEYA Flourish is equipped with dual-motor four-wheel-drive system, the fastest zero-hundred acceleration of 2.78 seconds, the top speed of up to 256km/h, is the current Zhejiang International Circuit, the fastest production electric car, the CLCT pure electric range of the longest for 650km.
The exterior combines aerodynamics and artistic aesthetics
As a coupe, Lotus car EMEYA adopts a streamlined design that perfectly blends aerodynamics and artistic aesthetics. Its styling is inspired by Lotus car's classic supercar design, and the mid-engine layout allows for a lower center of gravity, providing a more stable driving experience. At the same time, the EMEYA's exterior is full of modernity, with unique LED light clusters and razor-sharp lines that make it eye-catching at night and during the day.
The New Car also adopts the aperture design constructed by 4 groups of Race-Aero aerodynamic air ducts, which allows airflow to pass through the car body, bringing additional downforce while reducing wind resistance, effectively improving the vehicle's grip and handling performance on the track and road. This design not only makes the Emeya Flower very special, but also inherits Lotus car's strong genes of flying on the ground, making every car a "breathing Lotus car". 4 groups of Race-Aero air ducts are designed, including: upper and lower air ducts of the front bumper, air ducts of the rear bumper, and brake cooling air ducts. Among them, the front and rear bumper air ducts can enhance aerodynamic performance, while the brake cooling air ducts can effectively take away the heat from the brake discs and prevent brake heat fade. In addition to the aperture design, EMEYA Flower also has the most active aerodynamic kit in its class and the only one in the industry, which realizes the largest aerodynamic bandwidth design in its class, and makes Emeya's wind resistance coefficient as low as 0.21. When the active aerodynamic kit is activated, the maximum net downforce of the whole car reaches 150kg, realizing the ultimate handling and driving stability.
At the same time, the new car is also equipped with an active air intake grille that automatically adjusts to open or close according to range requirements or the cooling needs of the battery and drivetrain. In the open state, air flows through the grille to help dissipate heat from the drivetrain and battery, while in the closed state, air is directed to the sides of the vehicle. Meanwhile, the design of the active air intake grille is also borrowed from the Lotus shape, achieving perfect unity in function and design. In addition, the EMEYA Flourish is the only vehicle in its class to be equipped with a front active air dam. It is equipped with an active retractable air dam under the front spoiler, which narrows the space between the chassis and the road to improve aerodynamic performance and offers two modes: low wind resistance and downforce. When the vehicle speed is >110km/h, the air dam will be automatically opened and held at an angle of 90 to the ground, capable of generating a maximum downforce of 76kg to enhance the vehicle's stability; when the vehicle speed is <70km/h, the air dam will be automatically retracted.
EMEYA Flourish also adopts intelligent double-layer tail fins to balance wind resistance and downforce. Among them, the double-layer rear wing combines the advantages of both hovering main wing and hinge-type aileron design, and makes the adaptive adjustment of the rear wing more flexible through the complex multi-link assembly, and has three hovering states. When the speed is <30km/h, it can be adjusted manually; when the speed reaches 90km/h, the rear wing will be automatically adjusted according to the change of speed, providing up to 215kg of downforce to improve driving fun and stability. When the speed exceeds 170km/h or when emergency braking is performed, the double-layer rear wing will automatically adjust to a horizontal angle of 27° to generate a downforce of 215kg to ensure balance under emergency braking conditions.
In terms of dimensions, the EMEYA Flourish has a length, width and height of 5139/2005/1464mm, and a wheelbase of 3069mm, which is about the same as the Porsche Taycan, Tesla Model S and Avita 12.
