The heart of this 2022 Lotus Emira has two different types of blood in its veins: the same Toyota 2GR-FE 3.5L V6 supercharged engine from Japan, with a choice of manual or automatic options, with a maximum horsepower output of 400 Hp and a peak torque of 430 Nm! The other is the Mercedes-AMG 2.0L turbocharged engine with German roots, equipped with an 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox, with a maximum horsepower of 360 Hp, an estimated acceleration of 0-100 KM/H in 4.3 seconds, and a top speed of 290 KM/H. However, Lotus will launch the 3.5L version first, and the 2.0L turbo version, which is the same engine used in the Mercedes-AMG A45 and other cars, will be officially launched and sold after the launch of the car due to tuning.
